  1. Chris W. Johnson lives in Austin, Texas, where he has authored a number of Macintosh freeware and shareware products over the years, prominent among them the Gatekeeper anti-virus system (now discontinued), and a popular jigsaw puzzle program named Chris窶™ Puzzle. When he窶冱 not writing software in his spare time, he earns a living at The University of Texas at Austin where he writes things like campus-wide printing systems, computer lab control software, and odd little utilities. His ongoing efforts at the University include the UTexas Mac Archive, the MacTCP Monitor utility, and the Simple Internet Version Control protocol and associated software.
